From the beginning we have opted for a different way of interacting with the software and in this process different technologies have been integrated that we will explain in our applications. At Radikal Dreamers we have developed the integration of different peripherals with our software being able to develop own or third-party video games, museum applications and Advergaming for our clients.

Kinect

Kinect is a device initially developed for the Xbox 360 console. Originally it was known as Project Natal.

The Kinect sensor is a horizontal bar approximately 9 inches long connected to a small circular base with a pivot hinge axis, and is designed to be placed longitudinally above or below the video screen. It has a small motor that serves to automatically position itself based on the height at which you place it.

The device features an RGB camera, a depth sensor, a multi-array microphone and a custom processor running the patented software, which provides full-body 3D motion capture, face recognition and voice recognition capabilities.

Since June 2011 drivers have been developed that allow their use in Windows 7, 8 and 10 operating systems and therefore integration with software developed for these systems.

Leap Motion

Leap Motion is a device capable of detecting the movement of the phalanges of the hands, something that is not possible with kinect.

This device allows us to interact with the PC in a totally different way to the one that we are accustomed to, discovering an incredible range of possibilities in the way of interacting with the software

In one hand you have 29 bones, 29 joints and 123 ligaments. Leap Motion lets you interact with all of them in a way never seen before.

Myo

Myo

Myo is a peripheral that allows us to control different devices through gestures with the arms, but with a very special and different system than what has been seen so far.

Unlike Kinect or Leap Motion Myo travels with the user and therefore gives us another degree of freedom when interacting with the software. The design of the device is in the form of a bracelet and is placed on the forearm. Through its sensors it is able to detect the movements of the muscles that control both the arm and the hand allowing interaction with any electronic device based on a PC.

From interacting with any software like an extra peripheral, to piloting a drone, .. Myo's possibilities are huge.
